The instructions, handed over by the learned Standing Counsel, in Court today, is taken on record. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Shri Pramit Kumar Pal, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State- respondents, and perused the records. 3. The petitioners have filed the instant petition seeking protection from the police as they have solemnized marriage against the wishes of their parents. 4. On the last day of the hearing, the Court sought a verification report regarding the legitimacy and genuineness of the documents filed along with the petition. 5. Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions, states that on police verification, it's revealed that the mother of the petitioner no.1-Smt. Kalpana Sisodiya has stated that she has no objection to the aforesaid marriage and as such the relief sought in the instant writ petition has become infructuous. 6. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. 7. In case, any cause of action still survives, the petitioners are at liberty to approach this Court again afresh.
