BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER 01.05.2025 Heard Mr. B. Baruah, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and Ms. N. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2) This application has been filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act praying for condonation of 12 (twelve) days of delay in preferring the connected criminal appeal. 3) I have considered the submissions of both the sides. 4) It appears that the delay has been satisfactorily explained. 5) Moreover, going for issuing notice to the respondent No. 2 would be nothing but a sheer waste of time. Therefore, the delay of 12 (twelve) days is condoned. 6) The connected criminal appeal shall be registered and listed for admission/hearing. 7) This interlocutory application accordingly stands disposed of.
