Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- i) “That the respondents may kindly be directed to allot the government residential accommodation to the applicant/petitioner in nearby area i.e. Kasumpati or Brock Hurst on out of turn basis as per the Himachal Pradesh Allotment of Government Residences (General Pool) Rules, 1994 as well as the petitioner and his wife are 100% physically challenged (visually impaired). ii) That the entire record pertaining to the approval/allotment of Government Residential Accommodation on seniority basis and or out of turn basis from General Pool made by respondent No.2 on 03.04.2025 be summoned.” 2 2. Learned Additional Advocate General has handed over instructions, in terms whereof, now Government accommodation stands allotted to the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner was called upon to have instructions and he, on instructions, informs the Court that though the accommodation has been provided to him, but the same requires some repairs. 4. Learned Additional Advocate General submits that repairs in terms of Rules shall be undertaken forthwith. His statement is taken on record. 5. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of with the observation that an endeavour be made by the Authorities to make the house habitable as early as possible. 6.
