By filing this Interlocutory Application, the applicant has prayed for impleadment of the Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Finance (Budget) Department and the Principal Secretary, NHAC, Haflong as respondent Nos.4 & 5, in the connected WP(C) No.4981/2024. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for the applicant and the grounds of impleadment, as averred in the application as well as the prayer not being objected to by the learned standing counsel for the PWD Department, I deem it appropriate to allow this application, as the proposed impleadment of both the respondents as respondent Nos.4 & 5, appears to be necessary parties for proper adjudication of the connected writ petition. Accordingly, the Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Finance (Budget) Department and the Principal Secretary, NHAC, Haflong be impleaded as respondent Nos.4 & 5, in the connected WP(C) No.4981/2024.
