In view of the order proposed to be passed herein, no useful purpose would be served by putting the opposite party to notice and keeping this petition pending before this Court. However, in case the opposite party feels aggrieved by the order his/her right to seek modification/variation of the order is being kept reserved. 3. The basic relief sought by the petitioner in the present petition is to direct the respondent no. 2/Additional Commissioner (Judicial), Gorakhpur Division Gorakhpur to decide the stay application of the petitioner dated 14.08.2024 which is filed in Appeal No. 1428/2024, Computer Case No. C202405000001428, under section 207 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 Singari Devi Vs. Sharda Devi and others, expeditiously. 4. The matter is pending before the Court below since August, 2024 and considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the stay application dated 14.08.2024 filed in aforesaid appeal strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy before the Court below but without granting unnecessary adjournment unless there is no legal impediment.
