GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of Respondents 1 to 5 in not filing the Charge Sheet in Cr.No 170 of 2023 of Narasaraopet II Town PS registered against the Respondents 6 to 12 for the offences U/s. 365, 342, 324, 323, 506 r/w. 34 of I PC as illegal and arbitrary and direct the Respondents 1 to 5 to file an appropriate Charge Sheet in Cr.No 170 of 2023 of Narasaraopet II Town PS as expeditiously as possible and also to inform the status of the case to the Petitioner.” 2. Sri Padala Venkata Sriram Reddy, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, a direction may be given to the Police to conclude the investigation and file charge sheet in Crime No.170 of 2023 on the file of Narasaraopeta II Town Police Station. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondents - Police to conclude the investigation, if not concluded, in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
