This appeal is directed against the order dated 01.03.2025 passed by learned Addl. Sessions Judge-III, Chatra in M.C.A No.418/2025, arising out of Piparwar P.S. Case No.06/2024, S.T. Case No.42/2025, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that based on an information, a raid was conducted by the police, wherein 3 accused persons including the present appellant were apprehended. So far as the present appellant is concerned, the recovery was made of a country made pistol, four live cartridges alongwith mobile phones and six letter pads of T.S.P.C. extremist organization as well as Rs.9,500/- in cash. The appellant appears to be in custody since 20.02.2024. Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the appellant, we, while setting aside the order dated 01.03.2025 passed by learned Addl. Sessions Judge-III, Chatra in M.C.A No.418/2025, arising out of Piparwar P.S. Case No.06/2024, S.T. Case No.42/2025, direct that the appellant, above named, be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Chatra, in connection with Piparwar P.S. Case No.06/2024, S.T. Case No.42/2025.
