The instant writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent no. 2-Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj to decide the Suit No. 15148 of 2024 (Computerized Case No. T202402030315148) Shiv Murat and others Vs. Ramkaran and others under Section 116 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 regarding the Gata No. 723 Ka measuring area 0.05172 hectare and 723 Kha measuring area 0.5172 and 723Ga measuring area 0.5175 hectare situate at village Gohari, Pargana and Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj, expeditiously preferably within a short and stipulated period. (ii) Issue any writ, order of direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. (iii) Award the cost of the writ petition in favour of the petitioner." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a suit for partition filed by the petitioner along with others before the respondent no. 2-Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj is pending since 28.05.2019. He placed a copy of the order sheet of the pending proceedings, which is annexed as annexure no. 4 to the instant petition, in order to demonstrate that the matter is not proceeding expeditiously. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant petition is finally disposed of directing the respondent no. 2-Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj to decide the aforementioned suit, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the parties expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
