The grievance of the petitioner is that the representation dated 16.01.2025 made by him to constitute the managing committee of Khadeem Masjid situated in P.P. Chavidi, Tirupati Town, has not been considered. I { \ The petitioner, a resident of Pogathota Street, Tirupati Urban, filed the above writ petition. In the affidavit, it was contended, interalia, that Khadeem Masjid is located in P.P. Chavidi and the petitioner is participating in religious activities of the said masjid. One Shaik Lai Ahmad served as Mutawali and he died on 14.12.2024. Subsequently, there is no proper administration and hence, the petitioner made a representation to constitute the managing committee. 3. Learned standing counsel, on instructions, would submit that the CEO of the 2'’'^ respondent will place the representation made by the petitioner before the Waqf board and the members of the Waqf board will pass appropriate orders strictly following Sec 18 of the A.P. Waqf Act, 1995. 4. Indeed, such practice of directing the authorities to consider the representation is deprecated by the Hon’ble Apex Court in Government of India Vs. P.VenkateshV 5. However, given the facts and circumstances of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, with the consent of learned counsel on either side, directing the learned CEO of the 2"^^ respondent to place the representation dated 16.01.2025 (Ex.PI) before the Waqf board within six weeks from the date of this order. Upon placing such representation, the learned Waqf board shall pass appropriate orders strictly as per law, within eight weeks thereafter. No costs.
