The petitioner claims that she is entitled to make recomputation of family pension. She has made a representation in this regard but to no avail. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-State submits that the issue requires determination of facts by the competent authority as per law in the first instance. However, he contends that her claim regarding recomputation of the family pension are liable to be decided by the competent authority in a reasonable time frame. In light of the aforesaid submissions and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent No.4/competent authority shall decide the representation of the petitioner with regard to make recomputation of the family pension within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation.
