Order: This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioner herein, to grant anticipatory bail, in connection with Crime No.05/RCA-CIU-ACB/2023 of Anti Corruption Bureau Station, CIU, AP, Vijayawada, NTR district, registered for the offence punishable under Section 13(2) read with 13(1)(b) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that the accused officer namely Lala Bala Naga Dharma Singh, working as Sub-Registrar, Ibrahimpatnam, NTR District, indulged in corrupt and illegal practices and acquired assets on his name and on the name of his family members and others, which are disproportionate to the known sources of his income. Heard. Perused the record. The present case has been registered against the accused officer namely Lala Bala Naga Dharma Singh for the offence punishable under Section 13(2) read with 13(1)(b) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act,
2018.

I 2 counsel for the petitioner herein submits that to arrest the petitioner herein by implicating him the police are trying in the present crime at any point of time. On the other hand, learned Public Prosecutor submitted that till today herein has not been shown Additional name of the petitioner as accused in the aforesaid crime, hence the question of granting anticipatory bail does not arise. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case this Court is not inclined to entertain the bail

6. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed. petitions, if any.
