By way of instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following main reliefs:
“I. A writ of mandamus may kindly be issued to the respondents to decide the representation of the Petitioner in a time bound manner and pass a speaking order in the interest of justice and fair play; and/or II. A writ of mandamus may kindly be issued to the respondents to consider the name of Petitioner for the post of Range Forest Officer from due date with all consequential benefits.”

Before reply, if any, could be received from the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, states
- 2 - that petitioner would be content and satisfied in case directions are issued to consider and decide pending representation of the petitioner in a time bound manner.

While putting in appearance on behalf of the respondents, Mr. Ravi Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General, states that representation, if any, filed by the petitioner shall be decided expeditiously.

Consequently, in view of the above, present petition is
disposed of with direction to the respondents to consider and decide pending representation dated 19.4.2023 (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably, within four weeks. Needless to say, authority concerned while doing the needful in terms of the instant
order shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a speaking order. All pending applications stand disposed of.
