2025:JHHC:18228 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A.B.A. No. 3610 of 2025 ----- 1.Manoj Oraon, S/o Baldev Oraon 2.Umesh Oraon, S/o Rajesh Oraon 3.Pradip Oraon @ Pradeep Oraon, S/o Baleshwar Oraon All R/o Village Lawagara, P.O. Pochra, Ichak, P.S. Latehar, District Latehar, Jharkhand .... Petitioner(s). Versus The State of Jharkhand … Opp. Party(s). ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Prashant Kr. Rahul, Advocate For the State : Mr. Rajneesh Vardhan, AddI. P.P. …...... 05/ 08.07.2025: Heard, learned counsel for the parties. 2. This anticipatory bail application under Sections 482 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioners apprehending their arrest in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 25 of 2025, for offences under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 333, 117(2), 76, 351, 352, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 8/12 of POCSO Act. 3. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the state has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail. 4. There is an allegation that these petitioners have entered the house of the informant and they have assaulted the family members of the informant. They have also tried to outrage the modesty of the woman, including minor girl, aged about 14. 5. Considering the aforesaid allegation, I find that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 25 of 2025, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II at Latehar, stands rejected. 6. Accordingly, this Anticipatory Bail Application stands dismissed. (ANANDA SEN, J.)
