Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:20959 Court No. - 79 Case :- HABEAS CORPUS WRIT PETITION No. - 1027 of 2024 Petitioner :- Deepak Yadav And Another Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Pramod Kumar Mishra,Suneel Kumar Mishra Counsel for Respondent :- G.A. Hon'ble Saurabh Srivastava,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. After compliance of order dated 04.02.2025, the corpus has been brought before this Court by lady Constable-Ms. Vandana Verma from Nari Niketan, Prayagraj. 3. On being queried, the corpus stated that there is hardly any illegal detention carried out by any one, however, it is made clear that while rendering statement before the Court, it is the corpus who admitted that she was residing with respondent no. 4 as per her own will and sound mind, since the age of the corpus was disputed and only for ascertainment of age, medical examination has been conducted, during that period corpus has been kept in Nari Niketan, Prayagraj. Now the age determined by the concerned Medical Board, it is apparent that corpus is major and as such she is at liberty to lead her life as per her own will. 4. In view of the statement made by corpus herself, it is apparent that there is hardly any illegal detention carried out by respondent nos. 4 and 5 and as such the petitioner is having no case in respect of the allegation whatsoever has been put-forward through the instant petition. 5. Lady Constable-Ms. Vandana Verma is hereby requested not to create any hindrance if the corpus is willing to go along with respondent no. 4. 6. The instant petition stands disposed of.
