By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents for consideration of case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of the Deputy Director from the post of Assistant Director, Social Welfare Department. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at the time of DPC, the case of the petitioner was not considered as the Confidential Report (CR) of the petitioner for the year ending 31/03/2023 and 31/03/2024 was not placed, however, presently on 29/01/2025, the CR of the petitioner for the year ending 31/03/2023 and 31/03/2024 has already been sent to the concerned department vide Annexure P-11, but still the case of the petitioner is not being considered though the petitioner is going to be retired on 31/03/2025. Hence, necessary direction be given to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of promotion to the post of Deputy Director as the CR has already been sent by the Secretary, Social Welfare Department on 29/01/2025. 3. Learned counsel for the State would submit that as presently, the CR of the petitioner for the year ending 31/03/2023 and 3 31/03/2024 is available, the case of the petitioner will be considered within a period of 30 days from the date of submission of the representation by the petitioner. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the pleadings and documents. 5. In view of submission made by the learned counsel for the State, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit a representation within a period of ten days, thereafter, the same shall be considered by the respondents authorities in accordance with law within a further period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the representation filed by the petitioner. 6.
