The relief sought in this petition is for quashing of the F.I.R. dated 3.12.2024 registered as Case Crime No.171 of 2024, under Section 3/5/8 of Cow Slaughter Act, P.S. - Sahayal, District- Auraiya. Further prayer has been made not to arrest the petitioners in the aforesaid case. 3. At the very outset, Mr. Shashi Dhar Pandey, learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents raised a preliminary objection qua the maintainability of the instant petition by submitting that the instant petition has been preferred with concealment of the material facts as there is categorical averment made in the memo of the petition that the petitioners do not have any criminal antecedents but on the contrary the petitioners are having the long criminal history. 4. Confronted with above situation, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he does not want to press the instant petition and the same may be dismissed as not pressed. 5. In view of the above, the instant petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
