Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record. 3. On a perusal of the complaint/representations made by the petitioner before the respondent police and the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it is seen that the dispute between the parties is civil in nature. The Writ Court cannot conduct a roving enquiry and find out the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.39717 of 2024 correctness of the right and interest over the property. This Court is not inclined to grant the relief as sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition. 4. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
