By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the security deposit and performance security submitted with respect to contract no.59/UT-13-76(II)(XVI)/CE URRDA/2018-19 dated 11.10.2018 for the stage-2 construction work of Dharasu Chinyalisaur to Barkot, Motor Road alongwith an interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date it becomes due till it is actually paid.” 3. After arguing for a while, Mr. Sandeep Kothari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has already made a representation to respondent No. 1 on 06.02.2025, which is enclosed with the writ petition. He also refers to the recommendation made by Assistant Engineer. 4. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to Executive Engineer (respondent No. 1 herein) to consider and decide the representation dated 06.02.2025, submitted by petitioner, within eight weeks from date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
