Shri Pranesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned suspension order has been revoked on 01.01.2025. The only prayer made by Shri Pranesh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the departmental proceedings be concluded within a stipulated period of time. Shri Subhranshu Shekhar, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State submits that the matter requires factual determination as per applicable law by the competent authority in the first instance. However, he fairly contends that the departmental proceedings are liable to be decided in a reasonable period of time. In light of the submissions of the learned counsels and without going into the merits of the case, the competent authority is directed to conclude the departmental proceedings as per law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to cooperate in the departmental proceedings. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
