Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no.2 to set up a probe probing the allegations leveled against the respondent no.5 in application with affidavit dated 20.7.2023 (Annexure no.1). (II) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no.4 to make spot inspection of the work completed during the tenure of respondent no.5. (III) Issue any suitable writ, order or direction against the respondent no.2 which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit proper under the facts and circumstances of the case to meet the ends of justice." 3. Learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, submits that enquiry in respect of complaint against respondent no.5 has been made and no irregularities has been found as per enquiry report dated 18.1.2025. A copy of the enquiry report has been provided to learned counsel for petitioner. 4. At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to challenge the final order, if required. 5.
