Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 26.02.2025, on receipt of credible information about illegal transportation of Ganja, ASI along with his staff and mediators rushed to at clock room of Gate No.2 at Visakapatnam Railway Station, and caught the accused in possession Of 17.5 Kgs of Ganja. The contraband along with other material was seized under the cover of mediators report. 3. Heard. Perused the record. / .€ 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in judicial custody since 26.02.2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has permanent abode and there is no possibility of his fleeing away from the jurisdiction of the Court. 5. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 26.02.2025 The quantity of Ganja allegedly seized from the possession of the petitioner is only 17.5 Kgs, which is not a commercial quantity. As most of the investigation might have been completed by this time, the release of the accused would not cause hampering of investigation. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein/A1. 7. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. The petitioner herein/Al shall be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs,10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned VI Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Railways-Gum-VI Additional Civil Judge Court, Visakhapatnam. On release, petitioner shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned, once in a fortnight, for a period of three (3) months.
