The petitioner has filed this application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with prayer for bail as he is behind bars since Page No.# 2/3 07.04.2025 in connection with Dhakuakhana Police Station Case No. 28/2025 under Section 69 of the BNS. 3. Heard Mr. K. K. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent State. 4. The allegation against the petitioner is that he induced the victim to have physical relationship with false promises of marriage and now the petitioner is refusing to marry the victim. 5. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has to appear for the Ratna examination conducted by the Rashtra Bhasha Prasher Samti, Wadha which is scheduled to be held on 26.04.2025. Annexure-D is the admit card and Annexure-E is the timetable of the examination. 6. The petitioner is willing to co-operate with the remaining part of investigation. There is not much to investigate. 7. I have considered the submissions at the Bar. 8. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has raised serious objection against the petitioner's prayer for bail petition. 9. Considering all aspects, it appears that bail may be granted to the petitioner who has to appear for his examination. I have considered the submission that the petitioner is willing to co-operate with the remaining part of investigation. 10. Considering all aspects, petition is allowed. The petitioner shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) with a suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, (M), Dhakuakhana, under the conditions that: (i) The petitioner shall appear before the Page No.# 3/3 Investigating Officer on every fortnight till completion of investigation, and (ii) The petitioner shall not exercise threats to the victim or to other witnesses. 11. On breach of any of the bail conditions, the Court is at liberty to immediately cancel the bail granted to the petitioner. 12. In terms of the above observation, Bail Application stands disposed of.
