Medhi, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. It is submitted that pursuant to the interim order dated 25.04.2025 passed by this court, both the petitioners have appeared before the Investigating Officer and their statements have already recorded. In spite of that, the Investigating Officer has noted an objection on the ground that the stolen articles are yet to be recovered. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the sides. The petitioners have been cooperating in the investigation. Therefore, this court is of the opinion that their custodial interrogation is not necessary and accordingly, the pre-arrest bail of the petitioners is allowed.
