Mr. Rajan Kahol, learned Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Petitioner seeks higher stage of pay, i.e. Rs.37,600/-, on completion of two years of regular service as JBT in accordance with notification dated 06.09.2022 (Annexure P-4). 3. Petitioner was appointed as JBT on contract basis in the respondent-department on 19.12.2019 (Annexure P-1). Her services were regularized on 01.04.2022 (Annexure P-2). On being appointed on regular basis on 01.04.2022, petitioner was placed in the pay-scale of Rs.29,700/-. Petitioner’s claim for Rs.37,600/- on completion of two 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 years of regular service on the strength of notification dated 06.09.2022, amending Revised Pay Rules 2022, is covered under the decision rendered in Mohit Sharma & Anr. Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors., CWP No.1638 of 2024, decided on 29.11.2024. Since, the present petition is covered in view of law laid down in the said case, therefore, there is no necessity for calling the reply. 4. This writ petition is accordingly allowed. Respondents are directed to release the higher stage of pay of Rs.37,600/- to the petitioner w.e.f. her completing two years of regular service as JBT. This be done within four weeks from today.
