The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Murhu P.S. Case No. 39 of 2020, S.T. Case No.207(A) of 2020, for the offence registered under Sections 458, 324, 326, 307 & 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the CLA Act, pending in the court of Sri Rakesh Kumar Mishra, learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-II, Khunti. On 16.04.2020 at about 8:30 p.m., some persons in a camouflage dress came to the house of the informant and fired upon her causing gun shots injuries. It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused Sahdeo Kandir, who has been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in B.A. No. 8950/2021. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Rakesh Kumar Mishra, learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-II, Khunti, in connection with Murhu P.S.
