[2] This present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- “In view of the above facts and circumstances, your humble petitioner most respectfully prays that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be kind enough to consider the above facts and may be pleased enough to: a) Direct the Respondents, more specifically, the respondent No.4, to take an expeditious decision on the parole application submitted by the convict Mr. Kajal Roy in accordance with law; b) Directing, commanding the respondent authority togrant temporary release in favor of the convict Md. Rahid Miah on parole from 1st August 2025 to 31August 2025 or for any other period permissible under the Act and Rules.” [3] It is seen from the record that the convicted person issued a letter dated 03.06.2025 addressed to the Superintendent Kendriya Sansodhanagar, Bishalgarh seeking 30 days parole for repairing of his dwelling hut, which is still pending with the concerned respondent(s). Since, the matter is pending with the concerned respondent(s), at this juncture, it is not for this Court to adjudicate the same. [4] In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent- Secretary, Home Department, Govt. of Tripura to look into the matter in light of the aforesaid letter dated 03.06.2025 at the earliest, in accordance with law. With the above observation and direction, this present writ petition stands disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous application(s), pending if any, shall stand closed.
