Petitioner is aggrieved of inordinate delay on the part of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, who is the First Appellate Authority, under Section 6 of J&K Public Service Guarantee Act, 2011, in disposal of appeal filed in January, 2024, preferred by her against an order of rejection of Legal Heir Certificate in her favour. Having regard to the limited nature of controversy, the present petition is admitted to hearing and disposed of at its threshold with a direction to respondent No. 2-Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date, copy of this order along with copy of writ petition and annexures are made available.
