By the present writ petition, the petitioner, is seeking a direction towards the respondent No. 3, competent authority Land Acquisition Officer/ SDO (Revenue), Korba to release the compensation amount awarded to the petitioner by award dated 26.12.2019 in land acquisition case No. 35/A-82/2018-19. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the notice for disbursal of the award amount was published and the petitioner 3 was invited for payment of compensation in pursuance to the award dated 26.12.2019, but when the petitioner approached the SDO (Revenue) the said amount was not released to the petitioner and till date inspite of repeated requests, the respondent authority is not releasing the compensation amount as awarded on 26.12.2019. 3. Learned State counsel on instructions submits that if the petitioner will approach the SDO (Revenue) by submitting the application, the SDO (Revenue), then by examining the grievance of the petitioner, if the amount awarded vide award dated 26.12.2019, is not in dispute, the same shall be disbursed to the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of 30 days. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the notice Annexure P-2 which has been issued by SDO (Revenue) for disbursal of the award amount in pursuance to award dated 26.12.2019 passed in the land acquisition case No. 35/A 82/2018- 2019. Further, as per the submission of the petitioner though the petitioner in pursuance to the said notice/ communication (Annexure P-2) approached the SDO (Revenue) the amount awarded to the petitioner was not disbursed to him, reason best known to the authorities. Thereafter, the petitioner again requested the Collector on 25.11.2024, however, till date the amount has not been disbursed to the petitioner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed 4 that the petitioner shall approach the SDO (Revenue) within a period of 10 days from today and in case the petitioner approaches the SDO (Revenue), he shall take necessary steps for disbursal of amount of award dated 26.12.2019, if there is no dispute to the title of the petitioner, in accordance with law within 30 days, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
