Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has inter alia prayed for the following reliefs:- “(1) That the respondents may kindly be directed to consider case of the petitioner for granting of service benefit due and admissible under demobilized army personnel ( Reservation of Vacancies in the Himachal State non-technical services) Rules 1972. 2. That the respondents may kindly be directed to recalculate the salary of the petitioner w.e.f. 27.10.2016 or 15.05.2020 (as admissible) by granting the benefit of demobilized army personnel (Reservation of vacancies in the Himachal State non-technical services) Rules 1972 along 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 with all consequential benefits including arrear of salary along with interest.” 2. Learned Additional Advocate General on the basis of instructions dated 01.12.2024, which are taken on record, informs the Court that appropriate orders stood passed by the Authority on 16.05.2024, in terms whereof the pay of the petitioner has been fixed by giving him the benefit of qualifying service rendered by him. 3. In light of said development, these proceedings are closed with liberty to the petitioner that if still there is any surviving grievance, then he may approach the Court afresh by way of a writ petition.
