Baruah, learned counsel appearing for the applicant. Also heard Ms. N. Borah, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the P&RD Department. I.A. (Civil)/1352/2025 has been filed by the petitioner praying for the impleadment of the Finance Department in the accompanying writ petition. Prayer made is not objected to by the respondent. It is submitted that since the prayer made in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to release the amounts prayed for by the petitioner along with 15% interest, the Finance Department is a necessary party. Therefore, this application has been filed to array the Finance Department as a party respondent. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and since there is no objection from the respondent. The Finance Department, represented by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Finance, Government of Assam, will be arrayed as party respondent no. 7 in the accompanying writ petition, WP(C) No. 4675/2022.
