Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that,15.02.2025, on receipt of credible information, the Inspector of police along with his staff and mediators rushed to 3rd line, Railway station road and caught the accused in possession of 8.547Kgs of Ganja. The contraband along wl'th other material was seized under the cover of medl'ators report. 3. Heard. Perused the record. r\\- -zZrv < \ I/ 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners Submits that the Petitioners are in judicial custody since 15.02.2025 and the petitioners herein/Al and A2 are aged about 19 years and 21 years respectively. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the petitioners have permanent abode and there is no possibility of their fleeing away from the J-uriSdiCtiOn Of the Court. 5. The petitioners are in judicial Custody Since 15.02.2025. The quantity of Ganja allegedly seized from the possession of the petitioners is only 8.547Kgs, which iS not a commercial quantity. It is submitted by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that the petitioners herein have no previous crime record. As most of the investigation might have been completed by this time, the release of the accused would not cause hampering of investigation. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners herein/accused Nos.1 and 2. 7. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. The petitioners herein/accused Nos.1 and 2 shall be released On bail On each Of them executing a personal bond for a Sum Of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge- cum-Special Judge for trial of OffenCeS under the NDPS Act, Srikakulam.
