This appeal is directed against order dated 08.07.2011 whereby the prayer made by the appellant, seeking direction to the respondents to reconsider her claim for selection as 'Aanganbadi Karyakartri', was dismissed as the selection was cancelled, which was upheld by this Court and against which Special Appeal No. 261 of 2011 was filed and order for maintaining status- quo was passed. 2. Though none is present for the appellant, in Special Appeal No. 261 of 2011 decided on 20.04.2017, reference has been made to Special Appeal (Defective) No. 349 of 2011 decided on 28.03.2017 whereby the Special Appeal has been allowed and the respondents therein were directed to reconsider the grievance after providing due opportunity of hearing and making a scrutiny of the application forms and selection made. 3. As the order was passed way back in the year 2017 pertaining to the same selection, and eight years have since passed, the appellant herself must have been dealt with in terms of the directions given by the Division Bench. 4. In view thereof, apparently, the appellant has lost interest in the present appeal and the same is, therefore, dismissed for non prosecution.
