The present application has been filed with a prayer for allowing the present applicant/ petitioner to participate in the ongoing recruitment process for the post of Deputy Registrar (NIT), Manipur, without causing any prejudice to the right of the applicant to pursue the connected writ petition. Mr. Kh. Samarjit, learned DSGI appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that the petitioner is at liberty to compete in the direct recruitment process like all other eligible candidates and he has no objection if the present applicant wants to apply as a candidate for the said advertised post. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the applicant, this court is of the considered view that there is no impediment on the part of the applicant to compete for the advertised post as a direct recruit candidate and no liberty or leave of this court is required. Accordingly, the present application is disposed of.
