When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Advocate General appearing for the respondent has produced a copy of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.998/2021/H1 dated 30.09.2024 stating that the order has been complied in and by which the petitioner has been reinstated as per the award passed by the Labour Court in I.D. No. 992 of 1998 and she was brought under the time scale of pay from 29.05.1999. However, it is stated that the petitioner is not entitled to backwages in view of the award passed on 30.01.2003. 3. As the order has been complied, further action in the contempt petition is dropped. 4. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
