It is submitted that the petitioner is alleged to have committed offence under Sections 2 61(2), 196 (1), 352, 79 and 353 (2) of BNS and Section 67 of Information Technology Act, 2000-2008. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the strength of the complaint filed by the 2nd respondent, the Ongole I Town Police Station, Prakasam District, have registered Cr.No.263 of 2024 against the petitioner/accused. 3. Considering the punishment for the alleged offence is less than seven (07) years, the Station House Officer, Ongole I Town Police Station, Prakasam District, to follow the procedure as contemplated under Section 35 (3) of BNSS for the purpose of investigation in Cr.No.263 of 2024. 4. With the said observation, the present Criminal Petition is disposed off.
