And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Devesh Kumar Sharma Counsel for Respondent :- Anjali Sinha,C.S.C.,Satya Prakash Pandey Hon'ble Vinod Diwakar,J. 1. The instructions handed over by the learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents have been duly taken on record. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for respondent no. 4, learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents, and perused the records. 3. The petitioners have filed the instant petition to seek protection from the police as they solemnized their marriage without the consent of their parents. 4. Learned counsel for respondent no. 4 submits that the petitioners have approached this Court by concealing material facts about the age of the petitioners, date and place of the marriage. 5. Learned Standing Counsel submits that on police verification, it's revealed that the petitioner no. 2 was minor at the time of solemnization of marriage and he is not of marriageable age, hence he cannot provoke the writ jurisdiction. 6. In such circumstances, this Court finds substance in the arguments of learned Standing Counsel, therefore, no indulgence is granted to the petitioners, at this stage. 7. The instant petition is dismissed, accordingly.
