GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents particularly 4th respondent not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioners and not to harass the petitioners without following due process of law.” 2 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that Police are not interfering with the life and liberty of the Petitioners and are not harassing the Petitioners. 3. Sri Challa Ajay Kumar, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the Police are interfering with the liberty of the Petitioners and a direction may be given to the Police not to harass the Petitioners. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to interfere in the life and liberty of the Petitioners. Police are further directed to follow due process of law in case of registration of any crime against the Petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.
