Mr. Nikhil Singhal, learned counsel for the Petitioners. 2. Mr. Narendra Bali, learned counsel for the Respondents. 3. This writ petition has been directed against the judgment and order dated 08.04.2019 passed by learned Additional District Judge 4th, Haridwar in Rent Control Appeal No.192 of 2013, “Smt. Annapurna and another Vs. Saidas Arora and others”, whereby the rent control appeal, preferred by the tenant/respondents has been allowed and the judgment and order dated 01.11.2013, passed by learned Prescribed Authority, Haridwar the release application filed by the predecessor of the petitioners/landlord under Section 21 (1) (a) of U.P. Act No.13 of 1972, has been allowed. 4. As per order sheet dated 13.06.2025, it had been observed that “Mr. Nikhil Singhal, Advocate, makes a statement at bar that he has been informed by the parties that a settlement is ongoing between them for the vacation of the premises in question.” 5. Learned counsel for the Petitioners Mr. Nikhil Singhal as well as learned counsel for the Respondents Mr. Narendra Bali, submit that the parties have arrived at a settlement regarding the premises in question (the shop) that it will be vacated subject to the following conditions as mentioned below:- (a) The premises in question/shop under the tenancy shall be vacated on or before 31st March, 2027. (b) The entire arrears so due shall be paid in continuity alongwith the arrears within four weeks. (c) The said premise in question/shop under the tenancy shall not be sub-let, and nature of the property shall not be changed in any manner whatsoever. (d) The affidavit in this light shall be filed before the learned Prescribed Authority, Haridwar/Civil Judge (Senior Division) Haridwar by 15th July, 2025. 6. In light of the above conditions as settled between the parties, to which both the learned counsels stand by, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 7.
