Counsel for the petitioners has confined his relief to Prayer No. 2, which is for a direction to the respondent No. 2, the Tehsildar, Tehsil Iglas, District Aligarh, to decide the proceedings of Case No. T20171826033007 [Gaon Sabha Vs. Sugreev Singh And Another], under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, expeditiously and within a stipulated time period. The petitioners are stated to be the respondents in the aforesaid proceedings. Counsel for the petitioners has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to the respondent No. 2, the Tehsildar, Tehsil Iglas, District Aligarh to conclude the proceedings at an early date. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the respondent No. 2, the Tehsildar, Tehsil Iglas, District Aligarh would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of three months, provided there is no other legal impediment.
