Heard Sri Syed Mohammad Abbas Abdy, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos. 1 to 4 and Sri Sunil Kumar Singh has accepted notice on behalf of respondent non. 5. 2. The grievance of the petitioner appears to be expunging his name from the revenue record and consequential entry of barren and Usar made therein. 3. The writ petition has been filed seeking correction in the entries pursuant to applications moved before the Sub Divisional Officer. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has raised an objection that such applications on administrative side are not maintainable in view of specific provisions contained in the U.P. Revenue Code-2006 for correction of entries. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to avail statutory remedy under the Code. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of permitting the petitioner to file appropriate statutory application in accordance with the Code, raising all pleas, before the appropriate court/authority.
