Present petition has been filed seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to ensure fair, impartial and proper investigation and also take appropriate action agaisnt the real culprits in Case Crime No.169 of 2024, under section 302, 120-B, 506, 34 I.P.C., Police Station Shahganj, District Jaunpur. 3. At the very outset, Shri G.P. Singh, learned AGA-I on the strength of instruction submits that in the aforesaid case crime number, police report against three accused persons has already been submitted on 13.08.2024 and against rest of the accused persons investigation is in progress. He further submits that the police authorities are under obligation to do the investigation fairly, impartially and expeditiously. He apprised to the Court that the investigation against rest of the accused persons is going on and the same would be concluded at the earliest, in accordance with law. 4. The present petition is disposed of directing the police authorities to conclude the investigation of the said case fairly, impartially and expeditiously, preferably within sixty days from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before them. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the Competent Authority/Investigating Officer to act in accordance with law.
