[2] By the present contempt petition, the petitioners approached this Court for disobedience/non-compliance of the direction passed by this Court in the order dated 16-04-2024 in WP(C) No. 163 of 2024 whereby the respondents were directed to dispose of the representation dated 11-12-2023 submitted by the petitioners by a speaking order. [3] After the filing of the contempt petition, respondent No. 3 has filed an application being MC(CONT. CAS(C)) No. 45 of 2025 stating that in compliance of the order dated 16-04-2024 passed by this Court, respondent No. 3 has passed a speaking order dated 14-02-2025 and it is stated that the cause of the contempt petition does not survive any longer.
