Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:33382 Court No. - 1 Case :- CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 7731 of 2024 Applicant :- Smt. Urmila Mishra Opposite Party :- Smt. Rachna Asthana, Director Pravidhik/Technical Education Counsel for Applicant :- Amit Goel,Deepak Pandey Counsel for Opposite Party :- Rohit Pandey Hon'ble Salil Kumar Rai,J. In pursuance to the previous order passed by this Court, the Standing Counsel has filed an affidavit of the opposite party no. 2 disclosing that the retiral dues of the deceased husband of the applicant and also the arrears of family pension of the applicant have been paid. It has also been disclosed that family pension is being paid to the applicant from month to month on a regular basis. The counsel for the applicant accepts the aforesaid fact. However, the counsel for the applicant states that interest has not been paid on the arrears which were due to the applicant as the widow of the deceased. A perusal of the order dated 7.2.2018 shows that in its order, the Court has not specified the interest payable to the applicant on the amount due to her as the widow of the deceased employee. For the aforesaid reason, it cannot be held that there is any willful disobedience of any order passed by this Court by the opposite party by not paying the interest on the principal amount. As the order passed by the Writ Court has been complied by the opposite party, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application. The application is disposed of and consigned to records. Notice issued to the opposite party is discharged.
