This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to decide the Case in Case No. 2246/2022 (Computerized Case No. T202216530102246 (Prashant Kumar and Others Vs. Gaya Prasad and Others) under Section 116, U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 expeditiously as fixed by this Hon'ble Court in prescribed period in the interest of justice." It is contended that partition suit filed under Section 116 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 is pending consideration which is registered as Case No.2246 of 2022. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said case. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to the private respondents, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon respondent no.1 to decide the Case No.2246 of 2022 (Computerized Case No. T202216530102246) filed under Section 116 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
