Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:66300 Court No. - 6 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 20327 of 2024 Petitioner :- Samreen Khan Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Suresh Kumar Gupta Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Saurabh Shyam Shamshery,J. 1. Heard Sri Suresh Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri Ashish Kumar Nagvanshi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for State-Respondents. 2. It is well settled that object to grant compassionate appointment is to tide over the immediate financial crisis and other crisis, however, said object is frustrated in the present case since it is not under dispute that petitioner’s father died in harness on 22.07.2016 and thereafter petitioner got married and after about four years on 16.09.2020 for the first time petitioner filed an application seeking compassionate appointment. Prior to it none of her sisters (six in numbers) or her mother have come forward to claim compassionate appointment. Petitioner has also neither disclosed in her application nor in writ petition that she is suffering from any financial crisis, rather finding is contrary that she got married in a very established family of District Budaun. 3. The Court also takes note that now in the year 2025, i.e., after about nine years and when none of the sisters of petitioner have come forward to claim compassionate appointment within requisite period, its object is frustrated. 4. An argument of learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner being a married daughter is entitled for consideration, would have no legal basis since her claim has been rejected as she was not able to show that she was under financial constraint as well as neither petitioner nor her sisters have come forward for compassionate appointment immediately after death of their father. Therefore, there is no illegality or irregularity in impugned order. 5. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
