By way of instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:
“i) That a writ in the nature of certiorari may kindly be issued thereby quashing and setting aside office order dated 30.12.2024 (P-6), whereby pay of petitioner has been fixed in Level 3 (Cell 1) at Rs.20,200/- Basic. ii). That, a writ in the nature of mandamus may very kindly be issued thereby directing the respondent to fix the pay of the petitioner on his regularization as Executive Assistant in Level 9 (Cell 1) at Rs. 35,600/- Basic which corresponding to initial level of pay band of 10,300- 34800+3200 grad pay. 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 iii) That the respondent be also directed to grant two increments to the petitioner earned by him during his contract service and thereafter, fix his pay in Level 9 (Cell 3) at Rs. 37,800/- and pay him all the arrears, incidental thereto.”

Vide order dated 24.04.2025, this Court, directed the respondents to file reply within a period of six weeks, but Mr. Arvind Sharma, learned counsel representing the respondents/Bank, states that for redressal of grievance of the petitioner, as has been highlighted in the present petition and further canvassed by Mr. Vijay Kumar Arora, learned Senior Counsel, representing petitioner, the Managing Director, Joginder Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. has constituted a committee for resolution of anomaly among Contractual Employees and Regular Employees appointed on Compassionate Grounds. He further states that Committee appointed by Managing Director, Joginder Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., shall take appropriate decision expeditiously. 3. Having carefully perused averments of the petition, this Court finds, petitioner herein is aggrieved on account of pay anomaly inter se contractual employees and regular employees.
Since, having taken note of afore grouse of the petitioner, Managing Director, Joginder Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., has already constituted a committee in the Month of April, 2025, this Court deems it fit to dispose of the present petition with the direction to the committee
3 constituted by Managing Director, Joginder Central Cooperative Bank Ltd, as detailed in communication dated 09.04.2025 to conclude its proceedings expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks. In case, petitioner herein still remains aggrieved, he shall have liberty to approach this Court in appropriate proceeding. Compliance of this
order is directed to be filed by Managing Director, Joginder Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. in the 1st week of November, 2025.
