GP FOR ENDOWMENTS The Court made the following: ORDER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “….to issue a writ, order or direction especially one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring that the respondents Nos.1 and 3 cannot exercise the power under Sec.93 and 94 of the Endowment Act for issuing the impugned order in Memo No 25562/Endt.1(2)/2011-42, dated 02.02.2012 after a long period of 6 years and that too after the death of person whose services are regularized and consequently set aside the Memo No.25562/Endt 12/2011-42 dated 02.02.2012.” 2. On an earlier occasion, i.e., on 25.02.2025, this Court directed the Registry to issue notice to the petitioner. Accordingly, notice was sent to the petitioner and the same was served on him on 08.03.2025. 3. Even though notice was served, none appears for the petitioner today when the matter is taken up. It seems that the petitioner has no interest in prosecuting this Writ Petition. 4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as non prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
