This is an application for condonation of delay of 966 days in filing the Appeal against the impugned Judgment dated 11.10.2022 and Order of Sentence dated 12.10.2022, passed by the learned Special Judge, (POCSO), Nongpoh, in Special (POCSO) Case No. 62 of 2018, whereby the applicant/appellant has been convicted under Section 5 (1) (m) (n)/6 of the POCSO Act, 2012, sentenced to undergo 14(Fourteen) years of rigorous imprisonment, accompanied with a fine. 2. We have perused the application for condonation, and we are satisfied that sufficient cause has been made out in explaining the delay. 3. Mr. N.D.Chullai, learned AAG assisted by Ms. Z.E.Nongkynrih, learned GA for the respondent, also has no objection to the condonation, as prayed. 4.
