By means of the present criminal writ petition, petitioner has challenged the FIR No.260 of 2021 dated 13.09.2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 370, 342, 34 of IPC, under Sections 5/6 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012, and under Sections 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 of the Immoral Trafficking Act, registered with P.S. Transit Camp, District Udham Singh Nagar. 4. It is informed by the learned State Counsel that after investigation, charge-sheet dated 01.12.2021 has been submitted by the Police against the petitioner, therefore, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition and it has become infructuous. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he wants to challenge the said charge-sheet in the appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum. 6. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the present criminal writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to petitioner to challenge the charge-sheet in appropriate proceedings, before the appropriate forum. 7. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
