1. The appellants have filed these appeals under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act seeking enhancement of compensation against the award dated 12.2.2019, passed in Claim Case Nos.71 & 72 of 2018 by the learned Third Additional Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, District Janjgir-Champa, whereby the learned Tribunal passed awards to the tune of Rs.5,41,000/- & Rs.4,92,000/- respectively, and directed the Insurance Company to make payment with interest @ 6% per annum.

Learned counsel for respondent No.3 would submit that the Insurance Company is ready to pay an additional sum of Rs.12,00,000/- in MAC No.524 of 2019 and Rs.12,00,000/- in MAC No.521 of 2019 as full and final settlement to the claimants/ appellants.

Learned counsel for the appellants accepts the offer made by counsel for respondent No.3.
4. Accordingly, both the appeals are disposed of. The Insurance Company shall pay an additional full and final sum of Rs.12,00,000/- n MAC No.524 of 2019 and Rs.12,00,000/- in MAC No.521 of 2019 to the claimants within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. It is made clear that if the said amount is not paid within a period of 60 days it shall carry interest @ 6% per annum. Sd/-
